FUME SCRUBBERS, BLOWERS & DUCTS
Poly Pac Packed tower scrubbers are highly recommended for the prevention and efficient removal of inorganic gases, odour’s, and fumes mainly for exhaust air containing hydrochloric acid and nitric acid fumes, Poly Mist scrubbers are recommended for removing acid mist and fumes form the exhaust air of process bath, mainly for exhaust air containing chromic acid and sulphuric acid. They are used independently or as “Prescrubber” to packed scrubber. Vertical Flow Scrubbers are suitable for chemical process, metal finishing process, semiconductor manufacturing and dozens of other industrial operations generating fumes and gases. Optimum system performance is achieved with system that combine intimate gas/ liquid mixing and low pressure drop.
Standard construction materials include: polypropylene, fiberglass and PVC. Optional materials include high alloy metals such as stainless and Hastelloy.
ACID & RINSE WATER RECYCLING SYSTEM
Acids are widely used in production such as etching, pickling, polishing, debarring, metal-raffination, passivation and activations, as well as ore digestion, leaching, nitration, sulfonation, neutralisation, catalysis, ion exchange any many others.
There are different types of acids, sulphuric acid, phosphoric acid, nitric acid, fluoric acid and mixtures of these.
In the production process they are taking up impurities as metal ions, metal complexes, organics and solid impurities.
Polyfill Microns offers systems to remove these metals from the bath solution thereby enabling the bath to be recycled continuously. For critical conditions, we conduct laboratory and/or pilot studies before offering the system. Some of the systems being offered by Polyfill Microns are :

DM PLANT
DM or deionized water is simply water that has had most of the mineral content and dissolved ion content removed. It is just pure water. The cleanliness of the water is rated as its resistance value. It should be noted that pure water will not conduct electricity. It’s the ions in the water that conduct the electricity. Deionization is simply an ion-exchange process in which water flows through resin exchanges hydroxide ions (OH-) for negative ions. Sometimes there are two column of deionization – one for the Anions and one for the cautions, But the highest quality water is produced by what is called mixed- bed DI or “MBDI” where the cation exchange and Anion exchange resins are mixed together. Separate Anion and cation columns are now used infrequently because of the superiority and economy of reverse osmosis. Deionized water quality is measured by conductivity or resistivity. In the chart below resistivity is represented Above the line in ohms or megohms and conductivity is below the line measured in microsiemens.

Type III Purified water is considered to be 1 meg ohm to 0.02 ohms or 1 to 50 microsiemens.

Type I ultra - Pure water is considered to be 10 to 18.2 meg ohms or .01 to 0.0555 microsiemens.
